Look out Trenitalia, there's a new train in town!

Taking the train in Northern Italy just got a LOT more interesting.
Up until now, taking the train in Italy meant going for a ride with Trenitalia (Ferrovie dello Stato), as they monopolized the entire country's train network. As of today, there is a "new train in town”.
Arenaways trains began offering service between the northern Italian cities of Milan and Turin today, a two hour trip at the cost of 17 euro each way. Unlike the other trains currently covering this route, Arenaways offers innovative services such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning service, and free wifi connection.
Arenaways is a private company, presently offering commuter service between Turin and Milan only. Who knows if one day they will make it to this neck of the woods and start running trains to and from Rome, or for touring all over Italy?
