Roma Merda

As I stood outside the doors of the Rome municipal building, waiting to take care of some important business, stray cats were welcomed into the building, but human beings were kept to wait outside in the 100 degree July heat until the official opening time (or ten minutes later than that, who are we kidding). I stared at the graffitti on the wall and thought "Merda" (shit) indeed. Whoever wrote that must have been about as hot and bothered as I am right now. Get me home to my air conditioning!
