Rome: When Seagulls Attack

There is a name to my pain, dear friends, and it is SEAGULL.
Sometimes, the sounds of living in Rome such as traffic, noisy neighbors, and late night trash pickups can be enough to really get a gal down. Add to this the joys of parenting young children who like to get up with the birds. Literally.
This morning at 5:30, I heard screaming. Then I heard seagulls. In the center of ROME. It was like a game of what came first, the chicken or the egg.
Uffa! Not a good way to start out a day of living in Rome.
