Beware - Prostitutes!
Let there be no question of what those scantily dressed women on the side of the road are.
In case you are worried that while driving in Italy, your vehicle may be besieged by wild prostitutes out for tourist blood, the Italian authorities have once again come to the rescue (and not a moment too soon). Now let there be no question, the women on the side of the street with their business hanging out are indeed prostitutes.
This sign definitely goes on my top ten favorite signs list, second to the "no defecating" sign on the beach in Ghana (below)
If you decide to risk it anyway while on holiday in Italy, you may have the added comfort of knowing that Swiss Brothels bordering Italy are now equipped with defribillators in case they need to restart your heart.
The more I think about it, the more I think maybe we are destined to begin a brothel tour of Italy. Is the Vatican tour a thing of the past?
