Man Freezes Dead Aunt's Body to Keep Her Pension

In the Sicilian city of Catania, neighbors thought it strange that they hadn't seen their neighbor for some months. After police were notified, they intervened and found the woman's body in the freezer according to an article in La Repubblica today. 95 year old Annita Bonnici's nephew Gateano Adragna confessed right away that he wanted to hold on to Annita's hefty pension (her husband was a high ranking general) for as long as possible (anything to avoid actually having to work!). The 43 year old swears he had nothing to do with her death, although an autopsy can only be performed once the body has defrosted.
