How one couple's wedding in Sicily ended in a brutal tragedy.

Of all the things this young bride and groom in Sicily thought their wedding day would be, I am guessing that the scene of a murder was not one of them.

Just before heading to the church for their wedding ceremony, photographer Calogero Scimea was taking some photos in front of the couple's parent's home when he had the bright idea to use their parents' guns (because really now, what respectable Sicilian home doesn't have a few machine guns lying around) as props for the photos.

According to an article in Metro.co.uk, one of the guns went off accidentally and the photographer was killed. Needless to say, the wedding and celebrations have been called off.

Sadly, this happens all too often with guns and firecrackers and other things that explode in the night in the south of Italy!

That is amazing and sad. And I thought Texas was bad in terms of people having guns! At least here in Los Angeles, people hide them ;o)
