Vatican Gets Google Bombed?

According to an article published today by the Catholic News Agency, Vatican officials are perturbed by the fact that over the weekend, typing the word "Vatican" into a google search brought up the website www.pedofilo.com as the number one organic search result, before the official Vatican website. The site provides information and Vatican statements related to pedophilia. 

Technology experts think that the google algorithim may have been manipulated (also known as "google bombing") to favor the pedofilo site above others.

Google has issued an apology to the Vatican, according to the article.
