Overview
In an intimate group of no more than ten people, you will meet your hosts near Trastevere market. After a short stroll therein, they will lead you to the famous Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the heart of this historic Roman neighbourhood. Once upstairs and inside, your hosts Paola and Carlo will show you around their warm and inviting kitchen, set inside a charming renaissance Palazzo with original exposed wooden beams. You will be taught how to use top of the line food preparation appliances before you don an apron, roll up your sleeves and start cooking in Rome with the most hospitable hosts this side of the Tiber river.
Menus vary according to season, but a typical lesson includes start to finish, hands on elaboration of one appetizer, one first course (generally hand made pasta), second course, vegetable dish, and dessert. Many dietary requests can be taken into consideration.
