Overview
We begin with a short walk from the walled Vatican City to an award winning pizza stop which serves pizza al taglio (pizza by slice) for a late morning breakfast, and do it all over again at Forno Mosca before we part company with the Vatican and walk across the Bridge of Angels to the ancient Field of Mars. We pass by the Pantheon before settling down for the best Pizza Bianca in Rome in a family-owned bakery. A quick hike over to Forno Campo De'Fiori for more pizza and then, time permitting, on to Testaccio's 00100, perhaps the best boutique pizzeria on earth. We part company in late afternoon with our top pizzeria picks for dinner.
