Visit local producers of Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar with plenty of tastings and lunch. All producers are located deep in the countryside of Emilia-Romagna, so we rent a car on your behalf or you can use our driver service. This is the classic Parma food tour!

To confirm your 'Parma Cheese and Ham Gastronomy Tour' booking, click Check Availability below and pay a 50 Euro deposit per person. Balance payment details will be sent with your confirmation e-mail.
1-4 persons: 175 Euro per tour (either Parmesan cheese, Parma ham or traditional balsamic vinegar production); 235 Euro for any two (2) tours; 280 Euro for all three (3) tours.
5-6 persons: 200 Euro per tour; 250 Euro for any two (2) tours as above; 300 Euro for all three (3) tours as above.
Prices are tour inclusive and not per person. Please note that one (1) tour takes c. two (2) hours; two (2) tours take c. four (4) hours; three (3) tours take c. six (6) hours.

Overview
We offer three tours and you can choose one or all. Start time is typically 09:00 AM and we usually finish by 15:00 PM depending upon how many tours you book. Tours are conducted in English, French and German. In most cases your tour will be just you and your companions. It is recommended that you spend the night beforehand in Parma, as each tour is taken in the surrounding countryside and Parma itself is ideal as a base from which to travel. We can assist you with hotel arrangements in Parma. Lunch can be taken and options are as follows (extra cost below not included in tour cost above):
Light Lunch: 20 Euro per person
Assorted homemade pickled vegetables in olive oil.
Parma Ham DOP, aged at least 24 months with selected, traditional Parma Coppa, traditional rolled Parma Pancetta, traditional Felino Salame, Culatello di Zibello DOP.
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese DOP aged at least 30 months, served with a sauce of blueberries, figs, strawberries and good quality balsamic vinegar.
Home made bread and spring water.
Home made cake.
Coffee and grappa made from Lambrusco or Malvasia.
All accompanied with wine tastings; Malvasia Gran Cru Ariola Forte Rigoni, Lambrusco Gran Cru Marcello.
Lunch: 27 Euro per person
Assorted homemade pickled vegetables in olive oil.
Parma Ham DOP, Culatello di Zibello DOP, aged at least 20 months in the cellars of the lower Parmense area, traditional Parma Coppa, traditional rolled Parma Pancetta, traditional Felino Salame.
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese DOP aged at least 30 months, served with a sauce of blueberries, figs, strawberries and good quality balsamic vinegar.
Tortelli, home made pasta filled with herbs, butter and cheese.
Homemade cakes.
Coffee and grappa made from Lambrusco or Malvasia.
All accompanied with wine tastings; Malvasia Gran Cru Ariola Forte Rigoni, Lambrusco Gran Cru Marcello, Malvasia Rose Claudia Gran Cru Ariola.
Transportation by car is essential as the production facilities are located some distance away from each other. If you rent or have your own car, we'll give you instructions as regards how to arrive at the meeting point from Parma. Your guide will be waiting for you at the designated meeting point. Alternatively, we can arrange car rental or driver service on your behalf. Total distance covered c. 100km or 65 miles. Car rental / driver service not included in tour cost.
