Overview
In the morning you'll skip the Vatican lines with priority entrance into the Vatican Museums. Your private Vatican tour will include the Pinecone courtyard, Greek and Roman sculpture in the Belvedere courtyard, the Pinacoteca (important works by Raphael Sanzio, Caravaggio, Romano, Da Vinci et al), Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Maps, the Rooms of Raphael, the Sistine Chapel and it's frescoes by Michelangelo.
Rest and bathroom stop followed by lunch in the Vatican cafeteria.
After lunch you'll visit the Vatacombs (Papal Tombs beneath St. Peter's, not the Vatican Necropolis) and then enter St. Peter's Basilica, the largest Christian Church in the World. The visit includes Michelangelo's Sculpture of La Pieta', the Bronze Baldacchino by Bernini and the Holy Altar, sculpted Papal funerary monuments by Bernini, the Swiss Guard, St. Peter's facade and piazza.
