Tour Duration / Availability
Three (3) hours on Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat at 10:30 AM and 14:00 PM. Please specify preferred start time in the remarks section of your booking form. Your tour will be reserved for 10:30 AM unless you state otherwise. Start time between November 1st - March 31st is 11:00 AM.

Overview
St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatacombs. Your private Vatican tour guide will lead you down to the underground level we call 'The Vatacombs', a secluded part of the Vatican where tombs of deceased popes can be seen. We then return to St. Peter's Basilica to learn about Michelangelo's cupola (dome) and the Baldacchino (sculpted in bronze by Bernini).
Outside the Basilica we discuss and debate the history of the Vatican State, the Swiss Guard, and how St. Peter's Square came into being.

As a significant amount of walking is required, in the event of physical disabilities, we ask that you contact us before booking so that we can assess whether or not a wheelchair is needed.
